The front edge of the measuring tool (e.g. when measuring from a table edge)

Press the soft button to open the Basic settings menu.

Use the button or button to select the required reference level.
To confirm the selection, press the button.
Swinging the stop pin (8) in and out by 180° is automatically detected and the corres-
ponding reference level suggested. To confirm the selection, press the button.
The rear edge of the measuring tool is preset as the reference level every time the measur-
ing tool is switched on.
