, follow the steps below:
1. Remove the HEPA filter from the dust
box

by pulling the HEPA filter

out of the dust box (Fig. 9).
2. Use vacuum cleaner equipped with
HEPA filter, to remove accumulated
d u s t f r o m t h e H E P A f i l t e r b e i n g
c l e a n e d . U s i n g a v a c u u m c l e a n e r
regularly to clean the HEPA filter will
extend filter life.
3. If vacuuming the HEPA filter

does
not remove the accumulated dust,
r e p l a c e t h e H E P A f i l t e r a s t h i s
indicates the life of the HEPA filter
has expired.
Do not clean the HEPA
filter with liquids and do
not use compressed air to blow it clean.
There is a risk of damage to the filter.
REPLACING the HEPA filter:
1. Place the new or cleaned HEPA filter

back in the dust box

. Press the filter
until it is fully secured by the locking tab

extraction attachment. The dust box is
secured when the locking tab

snap into
the locking position (Fig. 8).
NOTE:
You may have to apply extra force on
t h e b o t t o m o f t h e d u s t b o x f o r p r o p e r
seating into the dust extraction attachment.
To confirm proper placement, pull on the
black tabs, without pressing, to confirm that
the dust box is locked in place.

Cleaning
Certain cleaning agents
a n d s o l v e n t s d a m a g e
plastic parts.
Some of these are: gasoline,
carbon tetrachlo ride, chlo rinated cleaning
s o l v e n t s ,
a m m o n i a
a n d
h o u s e h o l d
detergents that contain ammonia.
Ventilation openings and switch levers must
be kept clean and free of foreign matter. Do
not at tempt to clean by inserting pointed
objects through openings.

Operating instructions
To avoid accidents always dis connect the tool from the power supply
before cleaning or performing any main tenance.
