11.2.3 Average velocity
The average velocity is required for determining the mechanical continuous
output of the drive. fig. 11-2 "General equations of motion" on page 132
shows the general way of determining the average velocity. The following cal‐
culation can be used for a simple determination in trapezoidal or triangular
velocity profiles:
