REMOVING AND INSTALLING
DRY DIAMOND CUP WHEELS
1. Depress the spindle lock button to prevent
the wheel from rotating.
2. Loosen the lock nut with the wrench
provided, and remove lock nut and dry
diamond cup wheel (fig. 2).
3. Clean backing flange, spindle, lock nut,
and guard with brush insert.
4. Make sure the mounting (or backing
flange) is mounted on the grinder spindle so
that the centering collar faces away from the
tool. Note: The „flats“ of the mounting flange
must engage on the „flats“ of the grinder
spindle to ensure proper installation.
5. A rubber (o-ring) is fitted around the
centering collar of the mounting flange. If the
o-ring is missing or gets damaged in any way
(e.g. cut, abraded, etc.), the o-ring is
available as a spare part and can be
replaced. See Boschtools.com for details.
6. Place the new dry diamond cup wheel on
the mounting flange. Depress the spindle
lock button to lock the grinder spindle, thread
the lock nut onto the spindle and securely
tighten the lock nut with the wrench provided.
Pay attention that the collar of the lock nut
faces away from the tool. See figure 2.
