Customer service
If required, we recommend that you have the door
hinges changed over by our customer services. You
can find out the costs for changing over the door
hinges from your responsible customer services
team.
Before you call customer services, please check
whether you can correct the fault yourself.
After checking in accordance with the section
additional help can be requested by calling
the Bosch Customer Support Center,
1-800-944-2904 (toll-free), from anywhere in the
United States.
In Canada contact your Bosch customer services
team or call 1-800-944-2904.
Write down the following information about your
appliance so that you have it ready and can get
better assistance if you require support from
customer services.
Appliance self-test
Your appliance features a self-test program which
displays the fault your customer service can rectify.
1.
Switch off the appliance and wait 5 minutes.
2.
Switch the appliance on.
3.
Within the first 10 seconds press and hold freezer
compartment

button for 3 ... 5 seconds
until an audible signal sounds.
The self-test program starts. While the self-test is
running, a long audible signal sounds in the
meantime.
■
If 2 audible signals sound after the end of the
self-test and the set temperature is displayed,
your appliance is OK.
■
If at the end of the self-test 5 audible signals
sound and the freezer compartment
super
button
flashes for 10 seconds, inform customer service.
When the program has ended, the appliance
switches over to normal operation.
