6.5.7.2 Replacing tyres

Not included in price

Tyres are components that may be replaced after
approval by the vehicle or parts manufacturer.

Different tyres need to be used when the area of
use is changed, more weight or greater puncture
protection is added, and greater acceleration or
more dynamic cornering is used.

Tyres may be replaced if

• They are approved for use on e-bikes
• They comply with ETRTO dimensions
• They have the same load capacity as a

minimum

• They have a comparable level of puncture

protection as a minimum
