Locking the control panel
In order to prevent changes to the selection of the hob, for example when the glass is being
cleaned, the control panel can be locked (but not the [ 0/I ] key).
Locking:
Action Control panel Display
Activating the hob Press [ 0/I ] [ 0 ] or [ H ] on the 3 or
4 zone lights
Lock hob Press [ ] and [ 0 ] of the front
right zone simultaneously**
Press [ 0 ] again [ L ] on the 3 or 4 zone lights
Unlocking:
Action Control panel Display
Activate the hob Press [ 0/I ] [ 0 ] on the 3 or 4 zone lights
Within 5 seconds after activating the hob:
Unlock hob Press [ ] and [ 0 ] on the 3 or 4 zone lights
[ L ] of the front right zone **
Press [ ] All zone lights off
** On a 3-zone hob, press [ 0 ] of the right rear zone
Pan quality
Adapted materials :
steel, enamelled steel, cast iron, ferromagne-
tic stainless-steel, aluminium with ferromagne-
tic bottom.
Not adapted materials :
aluminium and stainless-steel without ferro-
magnetic bottom, cupper, brass, glass, cera-
mic, porcelain.
The manufacturers specify if their products
are compatible with induction technology.
To check if pans are compatible :
• Put a little water in a pan placed on an induc-
tion heating zone set at level [ 9 ].This water
must heat in a few seconds.
• Check if a magnet sticks to the bottom of
the pan.
Certain pans can make noise when they are
placed on an induction cooking zone. This noise
doesn’t mean any failure on the appliance and
doesn’t influence the cooking operating.
Pan dimension
The cooking zones will, to a certain limit, au-
tomatically adapt to the diameter of the pan.
However the bottom of this pan must have a
minimum of diameter according to the corres-
ponding cooking zone.
To obtain the best efficiency of your hob, please
place the pan well in the centre of the cooking
zone.
