Cleaning the machine

Caution
Do not guide the water jet directly into air filter/
carburettor 1 (Fig. 25), starter/air intake (2) and
ignition switch (3).
●
After wet cleaning run the engine warm to
evaporate all water residues and to avoid cor-
rosion.

Checking the engine oil lev-
el

Note
Park the machine on level ground so that the en-
gine is in horizontal position.

Shut the engine down.
●
Unscrew the oil filler cap 1 (Fig. 26).
●
The oil level must reach up to the bottom edge
of the oil filler neck.
●
If the oil is below this level top up oil immedi-
ately.
For oil quality refer to the table of fuels and lu-
bricants.
●
Check the oil level again after running the en-
gine for approx. 1 minute.
