3) LINK-UP TO A TIME DISTRIBUTION NETWORK
- Connect up the 115 or 230 V 50/60 Hz mains supply (Chapter 2).
PARALLEL DISTRIBUTION WITH REVERSED POLARITY
(minute // 12-24-48 Volt, half-minute // 24 Volt)
- Check that the clock’s descriptive label displays the wording “Ind.- Impuls.”
- Connect the impulse line to terminals 6 and 7 on the terminal strip (D).
- Select the impulse type (minute or half-minute) and the display mode (Chapter 7).
- Set the time on the clock (Chapter 8).
4) CONNECTION OF A RADIO SYNCHRONIZATION RECEIVER
- Use a France-Inter (P/N 907025), or a DCF
(P/N 907026) radio receiver.
- Only the
Style 7
,
Style 7 ellipse
and
Style 7 date
clocks are available in the
radio-synchro version (“Ind.- Radio”
descriptive label).
- Connect the radio receiver to terminals 5
and 6 on the terminal strip (D). There is no
polarity to be respected.
Then following the instructions given in
Chapter 7 (“Configuration”) :
- Select the “Ind” operating mode.
- Choose the display mode and summer /
winter (automatic daylight saving) time
changeover.
- If the quality of reception is good, the time on the clock will be set automatically to the right
time after
4 minutes
. In zones where the radio signal is difficult to receive, set the time on
the clock manually (Chapter 8), pending radio synchronization (generally, reception is better
at night).
