Cosmos - Helios - Solaris
- Remove the stone supports and burner.
- Remove the right flap (gas connection).
- Connect the connection tube to the gas pipe (on the right of the appliance) (1/2” gas).
The gas pipes must be free of dirt. Check there are no leaks, turn off all gas appliances and
check that the meter does not move for 5 minutes.
- It is advised to place on the gas pipe before the appliance a removable and washable gas
filter.
- Connect the transformer. The transformer and the operating light (LED) or manual
command and the switch 1/0 should ideally be installed in an accessible place outside
the appliance.
- Test the lighting of the pilot light (purge the flue).
On first lighting (start of season or
new installation), air in the gas flue may disrupt flame detection. In this case, simply
restart the appliance several times (to purge the flue), and you must open the door
after each unsuccessful attempt to light, in order to prevent gas accumulating in the
combustion chamber.
- Position the flap, burner and stone support. Spread the gravel uniformly over the burners
and stone support (an excess quantity may be provided depending on the model of
fireplace).
The pilot light outlet aperture MUST NOT BE BLOCKED BY THE GRAVEL.
- Close the door using the tool.
- Test the lighting a few times, and check that the flame is spread evenly. Reposition the
gravel if necessary. Lighting the appliance: check there is a flame at the pilot light and wait
at least for the little flame drawing to stop flashing before lighting the burner.
CHECK THAT THE APPLIANCE WORKS PROPERLY.
- Close the chimney and finish fitting. CHECK THAT THE APPLIANCE WORKS
PROPERLY.
