Check for valid PIN
If the smart card is PIN protected you are asked to enter a valid PIN (see PIN Screens
section).
PIN Screens
This section describes the PIN protection screens that can appear when using PIN
protected cards.
Enter PIN
When you insert the smart card, a check is made to see if the card is PIN protected. If it is,
then following screen appears. Enter ‘1234’ as the default PIN number.
If you enter a correct PIN and click Confirm, then the Connect to Screen appears,
otherwise the Invalid PIN screen appears. If you click Cancel the Welcome screen appears
again.
Invalid PIN
If you enter the wrong PIN in the Enter PIN screen, the following message appears.
Clicking Try Again returns you to the Enter PIN screen.
