Install ground cable (40), cable colour brown,
with cable lug ø6mm to ground point

and screw it on.
Combine the excess length of the adapter
cable (4) into the form of a figure of eight and
fasten it with cable ties in the side part at rear
left.

Install amplifier and supplementary wiring harness
(only vehicles with on-board monitor radio and battery in the engine compartment)

Connect together the black 17-pole on-board
monitor radio connector (40) of the on-board
monitor radio wiring harness (41) with the black
17-pole pin housing (42) of the adapter cable (4).
Change the plug-in assignment of the
connection cable for the video module and,
if necessary, that of the connection cable of
the CD changer in the black 17-pole socket
housing (43) of the adapter cable (4).
Connect the black 17-pole socket housing (43)
of the adapter cable (4) to the on-board monitor
radio (44).
Install power cable (40), cable colour red, of the
adapter cable (4) along the audio wiring harness
towards the front to the installation location of
the battery (41). Fasten power cable (40) with
cable straps.

Install power cable (40), cable colour red, through
the opening (41) into the control unit box in the
engine compartment on the left.
