Current playback is not
interrupted while the set-
tings are being changed. Play-
back volume can be changed at
any time. The display then goes
back to the last setting that was
selected.
The settings are accepted im-
mediately.
Press the TONE button to
view the next option.
The tone menu closes and the
new settings are accepted if
you wait a certain period of
time without pressing a but-
ton or if you press a different
button on the operating panel.
Switching speakers on or
off
Select speaker setting (
SPKR
).
The following settings are avail-
able:
SPKR OFF
: speakers off.
SPKR ON
: speakers on.
If the speakers are switched
ON the Bluetooth function is
automatically switched OFF,
and vice versa.
Setting bass
Select bass setting (
BASS
).
If audio output is via the
Bluetooth connection an
excessively high bass setting can
impair sound quality.
The following settings are avail-
able:
BASS 1 ... 6
: increase
bass response.
BASS 0
: default.
BASS -1 ... -6
: de-
crease bass response.
Adjusting treble
Select treble setting (
TREB
).
The following settings are avail-
able:
TREB 1 ... 6
: increase
treble response.
TREB 0
: default.
TREB -1 ... -6
: de-
crease treble response.
Volume and speed
The audio system can automat-
ically adapt the playback volume
to the speed. The rate at which
the volume increases in relation
to vehicle speed can be set at
different levels.
Automatic volume adjustment
does not work on Bluetooth con-
nected communication systems.
