Switching on audio
system
If the on-board electron-
ics ascertain that the bat-
tery is too weak, the audio sys-
tem is shut down even though
the ignition is switched on. Un-
der these circumstances you
can switch the audio system on
again as soon as the battery has
been recharged or the engine is
running.
Switch on the ignition.
If the audio system was on
when the ignition was switched
off, it automatically switches on
again.
If the audio system does not
come on automatically, press
the
ON button.
The audio system will be in the
most recently used operating
mode.
To switch on the audio system
on with the ignition switched
off, press the
ON button im-
mediately after switching off
the ignition.
The audio system remains on
for approximately 20 minutes,
then automatically switches
itself off.
Press the
ON button immedi-
ately after automatic switch-off
to restart the 20 minute count-
down.

Turn off the ignition or, if the
ignition is turned on, press
the
ON button.
