4.3 TRANSPORT AND STORAGE
4.3.1 TRANSPORT
When transporting the couch to its storage location, in order to avoid any risk of collision or falls
it is advisable to:
- strap it to a support on the transport medium
- cover it
- lock the brakes
- adjust it in the lowered position
Any damage occasioned during transport of the couch are not covered by the warranty. Repair
and replacement of the damaged parts are the responsibility of the client.
4.3.2 STORAGE
When the couch is stored, make sure that :
- the brakes are locked
- the couch is covered
- the couch is located in a cool, dry room (temperature: b10°C and +40°C).
While in storage, it should not have any heavy weight placed on top of it.
The couch must not be treated as a support base for any type of equipment.
The device must not be exposed to, much less come into contact with sources of combustion heat
or flammable agents.
In the event of prolonged storage, it is advisable to recharge the battery every 6 months as
follows:
- Connect the power cord.
- Briefly press the control function to initiate charging.
- Leave the battery charging for 8 hours.
