Iron (optional)
Suitable for : ironing all kinds of fabrics in general.
To be mounted : directly on the quick-fit connector
placed on the machine.
Use of the iron:
Choose a flat, stable, strong and heat-resistant
surface. Place the pad supplied on which the
iron will always have to be put, whether it is in its
warming or cooling phase or during pauses, on the
chosen surface.
Connect the male plug of the iron until limit stop,
making sure that the flap, once released, matches
the slot on the plug of the iron, blocking it (fig.
24).
Turn on the machine and wait for light Y to come
on (fig. 23); set the iron thermostat to a medium �
high temperature (shown by the steam symbol on
the thermostat) according to the cloth to be
ironed (fig. 25).
Press button K for steam to be released from the
soleplate.
IMPORTANT
Never leave the iron unattended during
operation. Before leaving the iron unattended,
disconnect it from the mains. Do not iron while
children or pets are nearby.
Before doing any operations of cleaning,
maintenance or tank filling, disconnect the
� nit from
the power supply.
IMPORTANT
During pauses in ironing, rest the iron on the special
pad.
If you have to iron clothes of nylon or silk, or any
other kind of fabric which requires low
temperatures without steam, rotate the iron knob
to the position you want and go on ironing without
pressing the steam button.
