INSTALLATION
Note
: This device can be used both indoors and outdoors, as it does not heat
the ambient air, but only radiates heat.
For additional protection, the installation of a residual current circuit breaker
is recommended.
• Remove all packing material (including the vibration protection of the
lamp). Check the unit, power cord and power plug for damage.
• Make sure that all accessories required to install the unit are included in
the package.
• Make sure that the installation site is stable enough to support the unit.
• Before suspending the unit, make sure that the minimum distances and
angles shown in the illustrations are observed.
1. The minimum distance between the bottom of the unit and the floor
must be 6 m.
2. The minimum distance between the top of the unit and ceilings, roofs,
etc. must be 0.2 m
3. The minimum distance between the sides of the unit and walls etc.
must be 4 m See figure 2.
4. The angle to the suspension surface must be 45°. See figure 3.
• Make sure that the unit is not exposed to excessive wind load.
• First, attach the wall mount bracket to the wall. Make sure the installation
location is secure and stable. It is also possible to mount the unit on a free-
standing bracket.
• Adjust the radiation angle and tighten all screws. Check the screws
regularly to ensure that they are seated correctly. Mechanical pressure
and oscillation caused by wind and rain may cause the screws to loosen.
• After installation, plug the power plug of the unit into the power outlet
and check that the unit runs properly for the first 10 •
15 minutes.
