EXAMPLE CALCULATION:
Assume you would like to release a dose of 67 cc per day of agent “A” into your
swimming pool.
67 cc must first be converted into a number of seconds, because the dosing pumps are
set in seconds.
The pumps supply 1,000 cc per hour.
1 second therefore supplies 1,000 cc/3,600 sec=0.278 cc per second
67 cc/0.278 cc=240 seconds.
You would like the pump to run 12 hours a day. This means that the dosing pumps will
also run only 12 x.
The total number of seconds must therefore be divided by 12.
This means that 240/12=20 seconds of dosing are required each time.
At the end of the cycle, 67 cc of agent “A” will have been supplied.
1 sec = 0,278 cc
1 gallon = 3,78 L
1 L = 0,26 gallon
With this time switch, it is also possible to modify the dosing times; For example, you
have the option of dosing for 10 seconds one hour, and for 30 seconds the next hour.
Dosing is, of course, only possible during the hours that the pump is on! You should
therefore pay attention that the setting of the dosing of and corresponds to the
setting of !

Adjusting the swimming pool pump ( )
In a 24-hour cycle, it is possible to set the swimming pool pump to a specific
time schedule for switching on and off, or to switch the pump permanently
on or off in this position.
Pressing the button 1 x 3 seconds will take you to the main menu, where
will first
appear on the display. Then briefly press the button again 3 times, after which
will
appear. Pressing the button now for 3 seconds will take you to the menu for the
swimming pool pump.
By pressing the button briefly, you can select between
,
,
and
.
while you are in the menu. One of these selections can be confirmed by again
pressing the button for 3 seconds.
: The starting time of the pump can be set by briefly pressing the pushbutton. The
time will be increased in steps of 30 minutes by briefly pressing the button. The
starting value is 8 a.m. Ten seconds after the pushbutton has been released, the
unit will enter the normal operating condition, and the UV replacement time
will be indicated. The swimming pool pump will now switch on at the set time.
: The finishing time of the pump can be set by briefly pressing the pushbutton.
The time can be increased in steps of 30 minutes by briefly pressing the button.
The starting value is 00:00 midnight. Ten seconds after the pushbutton has
been released, the unit will enter the normal operating condition, and the UV
replacement time will be indicated. The swimming pool pump will now switch
off at the set time.
: The swimming pool pump can be permanently switched on by pressing the
pushbutton for 3 seconds. Ten seconds after the pushbutton has been released,
the unit will enter the normal operating condition, and the UV replacement
time will be indicated. The swimming pool pump will now keep pumping
continuously.
: The swimming pool pump can be switched off permanently by pressing the
pushbutton for 3 seconds. Ten seconds after the pushbutton has been released,
the unit will enter the normal operating condition, and the UV replacement
time will be indicated. The swimming pool pump will now stop pumping.

Setting the clock (
)
Pressing the button 1 x 3 seconds will take you to the main menu, where
will first
appear on the display. Then briefly press the button again 4 times, after which
will
appear. Pressing the button once again for 3 seconds will take you to the clock menu.
In this menu, it is possible to modify the hours of the day in steps of one hour by briefly
pressing the button. As soon as you have reached the correct hour, press the button for
3 seconds. You will then be able to adjust the minutes. The minutes will increase by 1
minute each time the button is briefly pressed. If the button is pressed for a longer
period of time, the minutes will start running faster. Release the pushbutton as soon
as the correct time is shown on the display. Ten seconds after the pushbutton has been
released, the correct time has been entered and the UV-C replacement time will again
be indicated.
ATTENTION: The clock only operates in 24-hour format.
Dismantling / Maintenance
(see drawing 2, manual B)
Always switch off the power supply during maintenance/dismantling of the device.
The device must be cleaned twice a year. If there is an increase in algae and/or scale,
the quartz glass tube (
M
) in which the lamp is positioned must be cleaned. The special
lamp must be replaced at the latest after 4.500 operating hours. The stainless steel
interior can be cleaned with a soft brush.
1 Unscrew the three-part couplings
(I)
and drain the water from the device.
2 Unscrew the screw cap
(N)
and disconnect the lamp
(K)
from the lamp holder
(L)
.
Remove the lamp from the quartz glass and, if necessary, replace the special lamp
(K)
. As these parts are very fragile, caution is essential.
3 Carefully remove the quartz glass
(M)
using a large, flat screwdriver (
see drawing
3
). Never use force!
4 Clean the quartz glass with a suitable agent. Always use a soft cloth to clean the glass
in order to prevent scratches.
5 Pay attention to the correct position of the 3 sealing rings
(P)
when replacing the
quartz glass in the housing, and carefully introduce the end of the quartz glass into
the inlet
(Q)
(
see drawing 4
). Never use force!
6 Carefully replace the lamp in the quartz glass and connect the lamp
(K)
to the lamp
holder
(L)
. Screw the screw cap
(N)
onto the housing again.
7 The electrical unit of the device is situated in the display box
(S)
on the device. This
display box is glued and cannot be opened. If the electrical unit or the display is
replaced, the entire box must be unscrewed and the wiring must be disconnected from
the device (
see drawing 1
). Unscrew the screw top
(N)
and carefully remove the lamp
holder from the lamp. Any loose parts, i.e. of the earth etc., must be carefully
retained, as they are not supplied with a new housing or electrical unit. In case of any
doubt with regard to the connection, consult a recognised fitter.
8 If the housing needs replacing, the earth
(J)
and the electrical unit with the display
(S)
must first be disconnected from the housing
(U)
(
see drawings 1 & 2
). Unscrew
the electrical unit with display
(S)
and the lamp holder from the housing. Be sure to
carefully retain the various loose parts of the earth, as they are not supplied with a
new housing. Remove the lamp
(K)
and quartz glass
(M)
from the housing in order to
prevent breakage during transport. In case of any doubt with regard to the
connection, consult a recognised fitter.
9 Disconnect the flow switch from the glued socket. Unscrew the three-part couplings
and remove the housing from the pipe clips.
Dismantling/Maintenance of the dosing system: Replace both the dosing
hoses and the hose in the dosing system housing once a year (see drawing 7,
manual B)
1 Unscrew the black hose clamps
(A)
and disconnect the dosing hoses
(B)
from the
dosing pump.
2 Using a screwdriver, unscrew the 2 black screws
(C)
from the transparent cap
(D)
on
the housing and remove the transparent cap from the housing.
3 Slide the 2 black plastic ends
(E)
of the hose out of the housing.
4 Pull the black plastic pump head
(F)
from the shaft together with the hose
(G)
.
5 Position the replacement hose correctly on the pump head, and then slide it back
over the shaft in the correct manner.
6 Press the black plastic ends
(E)
back to their correct position in the housing. Then push
the complete hose
(G)
to the correct position in the housing.
7 Using a screwdriver, screw the transparent cap
(D)
into place again with the 2 black
screws
(C)
.
8 Push the new dosing hoses over the outlets
(H)
of the dosing pump and mount them
using the black hose clamps
(A)
.
9 Repeat the latter step with the suction and injection spouts.
