User Manual

Stream #:

indicates the Stream ID number of the incoming source IP MPTS.

<encapsulation:// ip address: port number>:

indicates the following information about the source IP stream:

encapsulation = indicates the encapsulation method used, i.e UDP or RTP

ip address = indicates the IP address of the source stream. The IP address can be a unicast or multicast address.

port number = indicates the port number of the source stream.

Indicates the program information and number of programs in the MPTS; for example, as shown in Figure 6.3.
Stream #1 is a UDP stream with multicast address 239.16.180.177 and port number 50000, which contains six

programs. For program 1 (48 PMT 1) the following information is displayed:

– indicates the Program MAP Table (PMT) of the program.

1 – indicates the Program Number as assigned by the source unit.

49 MPEG-2 Video

– indicates that the Video elementary stream of the program has PID 49.

52 AC3 Audio

– indicates that the Audio elementary stream of the program has PID 52.
