Adjusting the Station Seek
Sensitivity

You can change the seek tuning sensitivity
for all wavebands.
For receiving only powerful nearby stations
(low sensitivity),

press the lo button

 until ‘lo’ illumi-

nates on the display

If you would also like to search for weaker
stations (higher sensitivity):

Press button lo

 once again.

The ‘lo’ indication goes out in the dis-
play

The sensitivity level can be further varied in
both modes (see chapter ‘Programming’).
This function can be adjusted separately for
KeyCard 1 and 2.

Memorizing a Station

You can store one MW, one LW and four FM
stations on each of the preset buttons

level (I, II, III means 1st, 2nd and 3rd storage
level; T = Travelstore (see following section).
For jumping from one stored station to ano-
ther:

Press the FM•T button

Tune in the station (see chapter Auto-

Now the station is stored.

Note:
When tuning in an already stored station, the

c will show the corresponding

preset button for approx. five seconds. In
addition, for FM, the display

give you the storage level.

Automatically Storing the Stron-
gest Stations

(Travelstore)
With Travelstore, you have the opportunity to
automatically store the six strongest FM sta-
tions of your respective region and have
them sorted  according to their signal strength.
This feature is of special use while travelling.

Press the FM•T button 

B

 for at least

two seconds.

The set searches for the strongest FM
stations and sorts them on the ‘T’
storage level (Travelstore). Once the
process is finished, the car radio auto-
matically tunes in to the strongest
station.

If required, it is also possible to manually
store a station on the Travelstore level. If less
than six stations can be received, the free
buttons are represented by dashes for a
short moment.

Activating a Stored Station

If required, the memorized stations can be
activated at a keystroke.

Choose the storage level (only FM).
For this, press FM•T 

B

 until I, II, III, or

T lights up on the display

Briefly press the corresponding preset
button.

Briefly Sampling a Station

(Radio Scan)
You can let your car radio sample the radio
programmes to be received of the adjusted
waveband for approx. 8 secs. each.

Press the Scan button
