Removing an MMC/SD/SDHC
Detach the control panel.
Carefully push the MMC/SD/SDHC into
the slot
C
until you feel a slight resist-
ance.
The MMC/SD/SDHC is now disengaged and
is pushed out of the slot.
Carefully pull the MMC/SD/SDHC out
of the slot.
Attach the control panel again.
Switching to MP3 mode
Activating the MP3 mode of CD
For an MP3 CD, the MP3 mode is activated
in the same way as the normal CD mode.
For further information, please read the
section entitled "Switching to CD mode" in
the "CD mode" chapter.
If an MP3 CD is already in the device,
press the
SOURCE
button

edly until "MP3" or "CD" appears on the
display.
Starting MP3 mode of MMC/SD/SDHC
Press the
SOURCE

edly until "MMC" appears on the dis-
play.
Playback begins with the fi rst track that the
device detects.
Connect USB data carrier and start MP3
mode
To be able to connect a USB data carrier
(e.g. a USB stick or USB hard disk), the
supplied USB cable must be connected to
the rear side of the device as described in
the installation instructions. This cable can
be routed, for example, to the glove com-

partment or a suitable place of the center
console.
Note
Always switch off the device before
connecting or disconnecting the USB
data carrier so that the data carrier is
correctly registered and unregistered.
Connect the USB data carrier with the
USB cable.
As soon as a USB data carrier is connected,
it can be selected with the
SOURCE
button

. The display shows "USB".
Adjusting the display
(INF, ALL, SCL)

tion about the current track:
File name
Directory name
Track name
Name of the artist
Name of the album
To switch between the different display op-
tions,
press the "INF" softkey

eral times until the desired display ap-
pears.
To display all the available information once
as scrolling text,
press the "ALL" softkey

Notes:
If the information is too long to be
completely displayed, you can use
the "SCL" softkey

to switch the
display as scrolling text on or off. The
display briefl y shows "Scroll On" or
"Scroll Off".
