As defined in the following provisions,
Blaser Jagdwaffen GmbH, Ziegelstadel 1,
88316 Isny im Allgäu (hereinafter the
“Manufacturer”) guarantees the end
customer (hereinafter the “Customer”)
that the Blaser optics delivered to the
Customer (hereinafter the “Product”) for
hunting purposes will be free of material
or processing defects for a period of 10
years as of the date of sale (the warranty
period) .
The warranty will only be granted if the
Customer registers the Product within 30
calendar days of the date of sale online
at
www.blaser.de/product-registration
.
The warranty is only granted to the orig-
inal buyer . If the original buyer sells the
Product to a third party during the war-
ranty period, this voluntarily provided
warranty will cease to apply . The warranty
only applies to the housing of the binocu-
lars . The warranty does not cover moving
parts of the binoculars (eyecups) .
The Manufacturer will rectify defects
claimed at its own expense by repair
(material and labour time) or by deliver-
ing new or overhauled components, at
its discretion . Any faulty parts removed
will be transferred to the Manufacturer’s
ownership .
The Customer shall transfer the product
plus original proof of purchase to an au-
thorised dealer in order to have warranty
work performed (www .blaser .de under
“Dealer search”) .
Entitlements from this warranty are ex-
plicitly precluded if:
– the Product exhibits damage or other
signs of wear caused by use outside of
the normal intended use as specified
by the Manufacturer (according to the
user manual),
– the Product shows signs which indicate
repairs or other interventions conduct-
ed by workshops not authorised by the
Manufacturer,
– accessories not authorised by the Man-
ufacturer were installed in the Product,
– the serial number was removed or ren-
dered illegible .
The Manufacturer assumes the costs of
sending and returning the Product .
However, if the responsible dealer names
the Customer a particular shipping com-
pany and the Customer uses a different
shipping company, then the Manufactur-
er will not assume the costs of sending .
This warranty is subject to the law of the
Federal Republic of Germany .
