You are prompted when Bluetooth pairing exists but secure
pairing is not complete, such as when secure pairing
expires. On the BlackBerry device, type the secure pairing
key that appears on the BlackBerry Smart Card Reader.
Press the
Enter
key. On the BlackBerry Smart Card Reader,
click the
Action
button.
Clear the secure pairing key

Perform one of the following actions:
• If you are running BlackBerry device software
version 4.0 or 4.0.2, in your BlackBerry device
options, click
BlackBerry Smart Card Reader
.
• If you are running BlackBerry device software
version 4.1, in your BlackBerry device options, click
Security Options
. Click
Smart Card
. Under
Registered Reader Drivers, click
BlackBerry
. Click
Driver Settings
.

Re-key
. You are prompted to type the new secure
pairing key.
