Playback
and
Remove
Protected
File
Your
DVR
keeps
and
manages
protected
files
separately
from
ordinary
recorded
files
(clips)
stored
in
HDD.
You
can
retrieve
them
at
any
time
until
you
remove
them
from
PROTECT
LIST.
How
to
retrieve
and
playback
protected
files?
After
registering
your
files
to
PROTECT
LIST,
you
should
go
to
PROTECT
LIST
to
search,
playback,
backup
and
erase
them.
Press
SEARCH
button
and
select
PROTECT
LIST.
It
will
show
you
start
time,
recording
trigger
type
and
HDD
location
keeps
that
files.
Press
ENTER
to
select
the
file,
and
press
PLAY
button
to
playback.
Using
a
mouse,
click
SEARCH
‐
>PRETECT.
During
the
playback
,
the
channel
number/name
will
be
displayed
in
blue
instead
of
yellow
for
normal
recorded
file
playback.
How
to
remove
protected
files?
If
there
are
5
protected
files
in
your
master(or
slave)
HDD
and
you
try
to
protect
new
video/audio
files
during
Playback,
you
will
see
warning
message,
“PROTECT
LIST
FULL
ON
MASTER(or SLAVE)
HDD” on
the
screen.
To
erase
old
file
from
PROTECT
LIST,
go
to
PROTECT
LIST
menu.
Select
file(s)
you
want
to
remove.
Click
REMOVE
and
YES
to
remove
it
permanently.
IMPORTANT
:
If
you
click
YES
,
the
file
be
erased
from
HDD
permanently
and
you
can
not
recover
it.
