6. Control Software

Your switch is supplied with control software, which allows remote control of the
switch, for Windows

®

95, 98, 2000, Me, XP, and Windows NT

®

. Follow instructions

on the CD-ROM to install the software. Command line software for Windows and
for HyperTerminal is also available on the included CD-ROM. The Windows based
control software provides complete control of all switch settings and configuration
parameters in real time. It also supports operation via an RS-232 serial port and via
TCP/IP over an Ethernet LAN connection.

To select the patch mode, select

Normal

or

Advanced

from the main screen.

the bottom screen shows the 32-port version.
