Configure the COMS with internal DIP switches
and shunt jumpers (see the hardware section in the
front of this manual for more detail).

To configure LINKUP, install the program. Then
use the built-in menu commands to configure the
support software (see Fig. 1, “Menus in the Linkup
Software,” for more details).

For DOS, use the MODE COM command to
configure COM port parameters (see Section 2.4.2,
“DOS MODE Command,” for more details).
