ERSION
For technical-support purposes, it might be necessary to
find out the firmware-release version of your ServSwitch
Wizard. To do this, switch to a CPU that is showing a
DOS prompt or is running a text editor, word processor,
etc.—it doesn’t matter what software is running, as long
as it displays characters typed in at the keyboard on the
screen. Enter maintenance mode (as described at the
start of
Section 6.2
) and type “3” at the keyboard; the
version number will be reported on the CPU screen as
three numbers, the first of which is the major revision
level and the other two of which are the minor revision
level. For example, if the Switch reports “118”, the
firmware version is 1.18.

ESETTING THE

OUSE
If your shared mouse has become disconnected, you
need to change to a different type of mouse, or if some
kind of error has caused your mouse or keyboard to
operate incorrectly, you can trigger the ServSwitch
Wizard’s “keyboard and mouse reset” function, which
completely powers off the keyboard and mouse for
several seconds before repowering and reinitializing
them. (This function only resets the shared keyboard
