SYNC/ASYNC FIBER OPTIC MODEM

Tests can be carried out from the remote Fiber Optic Modem by pressing the

PATT pushbutton on the remote unit or by connecting a Bit Error Rate Tester,
which uses the standard 511-bit pattern.
