3.2 Autonegotiation (N-Way) Switch

Once you’ve set the MDI/MDI-X button on the
transmitter and receiver converters, you’ll need to set
the Autonegotiation (N-Way) switch on each converter.
See Figure 3-2.

Use the ON/OFF Autonegotiation switch to enable or
disable autonegotiating 10- or 100-Mbps speed and half-
or full-duplex operation.
