• Plug in the saw and squeeze the
trigger.
• Allow the blade to reach maximum
speed and place the saw on the
workpiece. Align the laser line with the
mark on the workpiece and slowly push
the saw forward keeping the laser line
on the mark.
• Upon completion of the cut, release the
trigger and allow the saw blade to
come to a complete stop before
switching off the laser.
TO USE LASER OFF SAW
The laser can be removed from the saw
and used for a variety of different
applications.
To use the laser off the saw, fold down
the front leg as shown in
figure 15
.
The laser can also be used in
conjunction with the protractor in three
different ways:
(1)
360 degrees -
To project the laser
line any direction in a complete circle,
1st retract the front leg and then insert
the two back legs into the groove of the
protractor as shown in
figure 16
.
(2)
Fixed Position -
To use the laser in
the fixed position, place the rear legs in
the holes on the protractor. Refer to
figure 17
for the angles created when
using the laser in these holes.
(3)
Protractor on Edge of Workpiece -
To use the laser on the edge of your
workpiece, rotate the legs of the
protractor so that they are straight up and
down as shown in
figure 18.
Place the
protractor against the edge of the
workpiece and center the large hole of
the protractor over the intended line of cut.
