Weight classes and statistics

"Statistics":

Activate, if you want a statistical evaluation of all packages with-
in the predetermined limits. No selection is made based on the
statistics.

"Nominal weight":

Nominal weight of the article.

   "Sliding contents control"

The device executes a check for completeness based on the package weight; e. g. num-
ber of screws in a box. The sliding content check is insensitive to external influences or
fluctuations in the weight of the package from humidity or production processes, because
gradual changes to the average value are taken into account.
"Too light":

Limit value after which the package is deemed too light. Specify
package separator or switch if you want packages that are too
light to be separated. In the standard setting "Do not eject" no
packages are separated.

"Good":

Upper limit value up to which the packages are considered OK.
Specify package separator or switch if you want the accepted
packages to be separated. In the standard setting "Do not eject"
no packages are separated.

"Too heavy":

Limit value after which the package is deemed too heavy. The
value is identical to the "Good" value. That's why you cannot
enter values. Specify package separator or switch if you want
the packages that are too heavy to be separated. In the stand-
ard setting "Do not eject" no packages are separated.

"Nominal weight":

Nominal weight of the article.

"Sliding mean value low-
er limit", "Sliding mean
value upper limit":

Lower limit and upper limit for sliding mean values. The limit val-
ues can either be entered as an absolute weight or as a per-
centage. The device checks to see if the entries are feasible
and if necessary displays an error message. The input field that
triggers the error message is highlighted.

"No. of packages for sl.
mean value":

Number of packages from which the sliding mean value is cal-
culated. Input greater than "0" is needed here.

"Ejector":

Specify switch or package separator if you want packages to be
sorted. The function can be selected for all weight ranges. In
the standard setting "Do not eject" no packages are separated.

   "Weight classification"

The device differentiates between weight classes. A package ejector is allocated to each
weight class in order to control further processing of the packages depending on their
weight. Setting the number of weight classes, see page 310.
