21.9.2 Configuring total numerator
In this configuration you determine whether and how the total numerators should be used
and when they should be deleted. The following settings are possible:
<Without *1 numerator>: The numerator is deactivated.
The settings <Without *2 numerator> and
<Without *3 numerator> are both used for total numerators 2
and 3.
<With *1 numerator>: The numerator is activated. The numerator is deleted when it
exceeds the predefined range of values or maximum number of
digits.
The settings <With *2 numerator> and <With *3 numerator> are
both used for total numerators 2 and 3.
<*1 numerator as con-
stant>: The numerator is activated. The value of the numerator remains
constant.
Application cases:
–
Printing one of the numerator values sent by the EDP.
– In a system network: Printing one of the numerator values
sent by the master device to the slave device.
The settings <*2 numerator as constant> and
<*3 numerator as constant> are both used for total numerators
2 and 3.
<Clear *1 num. by *2>: Only for <Total 1 numerator>: The numerator is activated. After
Total 2 and next single label have been printed, it is reset.
<Clear *1 num. by *3>: Only for <Total 1 numerator> and <Total 2 numerator>: The nu-
merator is activated. After Total 3 and next single label have
been printed, it is reset.
The <Clear *2 num. by *3> setting is also used for total numera-
tor 2.
<Clear *1 num. by *A,
*PG, *D>: The numerator is activated. It is reset once the article total,
product group total or daily total and next single label have
been printed.
The settings <Clear *2 num. by *A, *PG,*D> and
<Clear *3 num. by *A, *PG, *D> are both used for total numera-
tors 2 and 3.
Example: Total numerator 1. The procedure for total numerators 2 and 3 is the same.
