Manufacturer’s declaration and directive – electromagnetic immunity
The 0081N wrist blood pressure monitor is intended for use in the electromagnetic environment
specified below. The client or user of the 0081N wrist blood pressure monitor must be sure to use it
in such an environment.

Portable and mobile RF communication equipment must not be used closer
to any part of the 0081N wrist blood pressure monitor, including the cables,
than the recommended separation distance calculated from the equation
applicable to the frequency of the transmitter.
Recommended separation distance
D = 1.2 √P
D = 1.2 √P 80 MHz to 800 MHz
D = 2.3 √P 800 MHz to 2.5 GHz
Where P is the maximum output power of the transmitter in watts (W)
according to the transmitter manufacturer and d is the recommended
separation distance in meters (m).
The field strengths of fixed RF transmitters, as determined by an elec-
tromagnetic site survey, must be less than the compliance level in each
frequency range.
Interference may occur near equipment marked with the following symbol:
NOTE 1
At 80 MHz and 800 MHz, the highest frequency range applies.
NOTE 2
These guidelines may not apply in all situations. Electromagnetic propagation is affected by the absorption and reflection of
structures, objects and people.
A.
The field strengths of stationary transmitters, such as base stations for radio (cellular/wireless) and land mobile radios, amateur
radios, AM and FM broadcasting and TV broadcasting may not in theory be predicted accurately. To evaluate the electromagnetic
environment due to fixed RF transmitters, consideration should be given to an electromagnetic survey of the site. If the measured
field strength value at the location of the 0081N wrist blood pressure monitor exceeds the applicable RF compliance level above, the
0081N wrist blood pressure monitor should be checked to verify normal operation. If abnormal performance is observed, additional
measures may be required, such as reorienting or reinstalling the 0081N wrist blood pressure monitor.
B.
Depending on the frequency range from 150 kHz to 80 MHz, the field strengths must be less than 3 V/m.
