NOTE 2: These guidelines cannot be applied to all situations. Electromagnetic propagation is subject to absorption and
reflection by structures, objects and people.
a) The field strength of stationary transmitters such as the base stations of radio telephones (cellular/free cable) and land mobile
radios, amateur radio stations in addition to AM/FM radio and television broadcasting stations cannot be accurately predetermined.
An on-site study should be considered to determine the electromagnetic environment resulting from stationary RF transmitters. If the
field strength measured in the zone where the PRS
+
air unit is being used exceeds the RF conformance level specified above, the PRS
air unit must be observed to verify normal operation. If the system should be seen to be operating abnormally, it may be necessary to
take additional measures such as reorientation or repositioning of the stand or cart.
b) The field strength should be less than 3V/m in the frequency range of 150kHz to 80MHz.
