In order to empty the field, press the "Start" button under the "Empty" heading and to finish
emptying press the "Stop" button
The aspiration temperature is shown for information purposes.
The emergency stop button can be used during any of the treatment processes and will activate
the stoppage and closing of the critical components (peristaltic pump, turbine and clamps).
The treatment will not restart automatically, the user must manually re-activate the
programme.
8.7 Field Washing
The purpose of this step is to remove any remaining medication that may have been left in the
patient, even after having emptied the field in the previous step, once the recirculation with
chemotherapy has finished.
It can be filled and emptied using the buttons in the " Field Washing " group:
▪
“ Hot Fill ” , preheated fluid.
▪ “Ambient Fill” , room temperature fluid.
▪ “ Empty ” , empty field.
The temperature can be set between 20ºC and 45ºC (35ºC by default).
As with the field filling and treatment, it is important for the irrigation probe to be connected as
the temperature is stabilised based on the data sent by this sensor. If the probe is not connected to
the monitoring cable and the cable to the system, the process will not be possible.
