Note: It is recommended to change the silicon adapter every six months,
or when necessary, to prevent a loss of vacuum. Spare adapters can be
ordered from your local Biohit distributor.

Note: The Midi Plus cannot be operated without a fi lter. Wetting of fi lter due
to over fi lling will slow or prevent fl uid movement. If over fi lling occurs, change
the fi lter immediately. Both sterile and non-sterile fi lters are available.

Note: If there is any unwanted leakage after the Midi Plus has been
disassembled, carefully check that all the components have been securely
reattached.
Note: Only use the original fi lters supplied by the manufacturer.
8.3. Changing the batteries
If the battery does not hold a suf fi cient charge for the proper operation
of the Midi Plus follow these steps to replace the
battery:
1. Press the two release buttons towards each
other. Pull out the back cover to expose the
battery compartment (Fig. 7).
2. Insert the batteries according to the markings
inside the battery compartment. The positive
(+) end of the battery must be placed against
the (+) mark inside the compartment etc. (Fig.
