7.7.1 Turn on or off the Call Barring
1. Press <MENU/OK>.
2. Press <UP/DOWN> to select
ADv SETTING
.
3. Press <MENU/OK> to show
CALL BARRING
and then press
<MENU/OK>.
4. Modify the displayed
PIN
, if necessary, using <DEL/INT> to delete digits
and the keypad to enter new ones.
5. Press <MENU/OK> to show
MODE
and then <MENU/OK> to select.
6. Press <UP/DOWN> to select
ON
or
OFF
and then <MENU/OK>
to confirm. If it has been turned ON,
CALL BARRING
will be shown on
the display when the handset returns to standby mode.
7.7.2 To Program a Call Barring number
1. Press
<
MENU/OK>.
2. Press <UP/DOWN> to select
ADv SETTING.
3. Press <UP/DOWN> to show
CALL BARRING
and then press <MENU/OK>.
4. Modify the displayed
PIN
, if necessary, using <DEL/INT> to delete digits
and the keypad to enter new ones.
5. Press <UP/DOWN> to select
NUMBER
and then press <MENU/OK>.
6. Press <UP/DOWN> to select
NUMBER 1
,
2
or
3
and
press <MENU/OK> to confirm.
7. Enter the number you want to bar (up to the first 4-digits) and then
press <MENU/OK> to confirm.
8. Repeat steps 6 and 7 if you want to set more barred numbers.
7.8 Reset your phone
This feature allows you to restore all system settings, except the answering
machine messages and phonebook, to default settings. This feature could
be useful, for example, if you have forgotten the System
PIN
to access the
answering system remotely.
1. Press <MENU/OK>.
2. Press <UP/DOWN> to select
ADv SETTING
and then press <MENU/OK>.
3. Press <UP/DOWN> to select
RESET
and then press <MENU/OK>.
4. Press <MENU/OK> again to confirm the reset.
NOTE:
All settings under the
ANS SYSTEM, BLOCK LIST, PROGRAM
DND, CLOCK & ALARM, SETTINGS, HANDSET TONES, BASE TONES
and
ADv SETTING
menus in the handset will be restored to default
settings,and the redial list and call log will also be cleared for the whole
system.
