7.2 Alarm settings
An alarm can be programmed on a handset, to sound at a set time only
once or repeated each day.
When an alarm is set the alarm icon is shown on the handset display.
When the alarm time is reached,
ALARM
and the alarm icon flash on the
display, and the alarm tone sounds for 1 minute, at the same volume setting
as the handset ringer, unless the ringer is off, in which case it will ring at
volume setting 1.
When the alarm tone sounds, you can press any key on the handset to stop
the tone, even if the keylock is enabled.
1. Press <MENU/OK>.
2. Press <UP/DOWN> to select
CLOCK & ALARM
and then press
<MENU/OK>.
3. Press <UP/DOWN> to select
ALARM
and then press <MENU/OK>.
4. Press <UP/DOWN> to select the desired alarm option from:
OFF:
Turn alarm off
ONE TIME:
The alarm sounds once at the set time.
DAILY:
The alarm sounds daily at the set time.
5. Press <MENU/OK> to select the option.
6. If
ONE TIME
or
DAILY
is selected, enter the desired hour and minute
and press <UP/DOWN> to select AM or PM if the time is in 12 hour
format.
7. Press <MENU/OK> to confirm the alarm setting.
7.2.1 Set the alarm tone
You can select from 3 alarm melodies.
1. Press <MENU/OK>.
2. Press <UP/DOWN> to select
CLOCK & ALARM
and then press
<MENU/OK> .
3. Press <UP/DOWN> to select
ALARM TONE
and then press <MENU/OK>.
4. Press <UP/DOWN> to select the desired alarm tone (each tone will
sound as it is selected) and then press <MENU/OK> to confirm.
