7.7 Call Barring setting
The call barring feature can be set on any handset to prevent it from dialling
any phone number beginning with certain digits that have been set. Three
different barring numbers, each of up to 4 digits, can be set. If a restricted
number is dialled, the call will not be connected, an error tone is emitted
and the handset returns to the stand-by state. The system
PIN
is required
to set or modify the call barring state, and should be changed from 0000 to
prevent the call bar setting being easily overcome.
