11.7.3 Terminal/Input-Output test 

The test is conducted in two phases: 
1. PHASE 

✔ 

Connect the JINPUT_EXI connectors to JOUT_CPU in the CPU 

board (blank connection). The connection should be made on a 
one-to-one basis (1 to 1, 2 to 2, ..., 5 to 5). 

✔ 

Run the test and wait for OK. 

✔ 

The CPU part will have now been tested, and the INPUTs are OK. 

2. PHASE 

✔ 

Disconnect the blank connection used in PHASE 1. 

✔ 

Re-connect the JOUT_CPU connector so as to restore the 

connection with the relays in PS440/xxx - PS440-A/xxx. 

✔ 

Run the manual OUTPUT test and check with a tester to ensure 

continuity on the output terminals of PS440/xxx - PS440-A/xxx.
