TROUBLE-SHOOTING
4. Loose wire or cable connection(s) at one of the battery terminals or at coil.
5. Spark plug cables in bad condition.
6. Battery nearly discharged.
7. Carburetor not adjusted correctly.
8. Water or dirt in fuel system and/or carburetor.
9. Engine oil too viscous (winter operation).
STARTS, BUT RUNS IRREGULARLY OR MISSES:
1. Spark plugs in bad condition or partially fouled.
2. Spark plug cables in bad condition or have become detached (check both ends of each
spark plug cable).
3. Spark plug gap too close or too wide.
4. Battery nearly discharged.
5. Damaged wire/loose connection at battery terminals or coils.
6. Intermittent short circuit due to damaged wire insulation.
7. Water or dirt in fuel system.
8. Fuel vent system plugged.
9. Air leak in intake manifold.
10.Air filter clogged.
SPARK PLUG FOULS REPEATEDLY:
1. Excessive enrichener use.
2. Fuel mixture too rich.
