Step 30: Attach Gable Boards and Tarp cont.

C:

With the assistance from a helper, from the inside of the Roof Assembly attach (B6) Centre Gable Board

to the peak of the Roof Support Assembly; centre on (A2) Sunburst and (A12) Roof Side with 3 (S2) #8 x
1-1/2” Wood Screws. Make sure (A2) Sunburst is centred lengthwise on (A12) Roof Side. (fig. 30.3 & 30.4)

: Tight to the sides of (B6) Centre Gable Board and tight to the top of (A12) Roof Side attach 2 (B7) Gable

Board A to (A2) Sunburst and each (B25) Roof Support with 2 (S2) #8 x 1-1/2” Wood Screws per board. (fig.

30.4)

E:

Directly above the (B7) Gable Board A and tight to the sides of (B6) Centre Gable Board, attach 2 (B8)

Gable Board B to (A2) Sunburst and each (B25) Roof Supports with 2 (S2) #8 x 1-1/2” Wood Screws per

board. (fig. 30.4)

F:

From the inside of the assembly attach the Tarp to each (B25) Roof Support and to (A12) Roof Side with

11 (S5) #8 x 1/2” Pan Screws (with #8 flat washer). Loosen the bolts in (A12) Roof Side and tuck the tarp
in between (A12) Roof Side and (C13) Posts, then re-tighten the bolts. Make sure the tarp is taut before
fastening. (fig. 30.5)
