Essential performance per IEC 60601-1: The essential performance is to maintain the visual
luminous intensity of the LED and the motor speed. The maximum speed deviation is ±5%.
1. Field strengths from fixed transmitters, such as base stations for radio (cellular/
cordless) telephones and mobile field radios, amateur radios, AM and FM radio
broadcasts and TV broadcasts cannot be predicted theoretically with accuracy. To
assess the electromagnetic environment due to fixed RF transmitters, an electro-
magnetic site survey should be considered. If the measured field strength in the lo-
cation in which the iOptima INT is used exceeds the RF compliance level mentioned
above, the iOptima INT should be observed to verify that it is operating normally. If
abnormal operation is observed, additional measures may be necessary, such as
reorienting or relocating the iOptima INT.
