IMPORTANT
Before using the fan, carefully read all of the instructions and follow them scrupulously. The manufacturer cannot be held
responsible for damage to persons and/or property caused by improper use of the equipment.
This instruction manual is an integral part of the equipment and must therefore be stored carefully and passed on with the unit in
the event of a change of ownership.
1. DESCRIPTION
The axial fans described in this manual are designed for combined
operation with the space heaters in order to evenly distribute the hot
air flow in the room to be heated.
The hot air flow is moved by a high-efficiency fan unit and is
distributed in the room only after it has passed through an air flow
rectifier that:
• efficiently contains the turbulent motion generated by the fan
blades;
• increases the air launch generated by the fan.
2. CONDITIONS OF SUPPLY
The axial fan is delivered in a cardboard box and can be handled
easily with a manual or automatic forklift with capacity exceeding
200 kg.
Warning
NEVER TRY TO LIFT IT BY HAND: its weight could cause
significant physical harm.
It contains:
• N. 1 axial fan.
• 1 instruction and maintenance booklet
• 1 booklet with drawings and spare parts list
3. GENERAL ADVICE
The equipment must be installed and used in conformity to all
national and local laws and regulations in force in the country of
installation.
General guidelines:
• Follow the instructions in this booklet very carefully;
• Do not install the fan in places where there is a risk of fire or
explosion;
• Keep inflammable material at a safe distance from the fan
(minimum 3 metres);
• Check that there is no overheating of walls, ceilings or floors made
of inflammable materials;
• All fire prevention regulations must be complied with;
• Check the fan before switching it on and at regular intervals
during its use;
• After use, make sure the disconnecting switch is off.
Warning
This unit may not be used by persons (including children)
with reduced physical, sensorial or mental capacities or
with limited experience and familiarity unless they are
under supervision or instructed on how to use the unit by
the person responsible for its safety.
4. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Warning
All of the operations described in this section must be
performed by professionally qualified personnel only.
4.1. CEILING INSTALLATION
The axial fan must be installed by attaching it to the ceiling with
ropes and/or chains of appropriate size and length, to be attached
to the four suspension points
Warning
Make sure that the ropes and/or chains form an angle not
more than 5° with vertical to the ceiling, that the ropes do
not cross, and that a different rope is used for each hook.
The minimum distance from surrounding walls, floor and/or ceiling
must always be at least 1 metre.
4.2.
POWER CONNECTIONS
Because the fan is intended for combined operation, the electrical
connection must ensure that the fan starts when the space heater
starts to heat and produce air flow.
A control circuit linked to the surrounding spacer heater(s) must
therefore be provided.
Warning
The fan’s power supply cable must be connected to an
electrical panel equipped with a disconnecting switch to
allow the fan to be switched on and off independently
from the control circuit power supply.
Warning
The power line must be earthed and fitted with a residual
current circuit breaker.
Before connecting the fan to the electrical mains, check that the
mains data correspond to the data shown on the fan’s identification
plate.

The fan is fitted with a temporary power cable, used for
the working test
Warning
The temporary power cable must be removed and replaced
with a H07RN-F cable having a section of at least 1.5
mm

: a larger section is required if the cable is more than
15 metres long.
The cable must be stripped, leaving the earth lead at least
2 cm longer.
Warning
For three-phase models, check that the fan’s direction of
rotation matches the direction shown on the sticker
located inside the fan body: if it rotates in the opposite
direction, reverse the connection of two of the electrical
