5. MACHINE DESCRIPTION
The system consists of a steam generator and a pro-
fessional iron. For the ironing, in accordance with
the model, it is possible to include a steam gene-
rator with an automatic refilling system. Along with
all BIEFFE steam generators, the boiler is made of
copper, the heaters are placed outside the boiler so
that they are not immersed in water, allowing to get
rid of wear issues and reducing significantly waiting
times saving electricity. The best tools on the mar-
ket as thermostat, pressure switch, safety valve and
pressure gauge, check for the correct functioning of
the system automatically. Before the use we recom-
mend to read carefully all the information related
to the model in your possession. Data, descriptions
and illustrations in the following leaflet are not bin-
ding. BIEFFE reserves the right to make any neces-
sary modifications.
6. REGULAR MAINTENANCE: EMP-
TYING/CLEANING OF THE BOILER
ATTENTION: BEFORE DRAINING THE WATER
FROM THE BOILER, UNPLUG THE MACHINE AND
UNSCREW BY HALF A TURN THE SACURITY TAP
TO RELEASE THE REMAINING PRESSURE AND
HEATH FROM THE BOILER.

Wait for the boiler to be cool and the pressure
gauge to show “0”, place a container at the base
of the boiler and open carefully the security tap
letting the water out.

To carry out an extraordinary cleaning, pour
into the boiler a glass of vinegar and water. Then
shake the steam generator, empty the boiler and
rinse with only water. Do not use any anti-limescale
product.
THIS OPERATION MUST BE DONE DEPENDING
ON THE USE OF THE MACHINE, AT LEAST ONCE A
MONTH. IF NOT, THE GUARANTEE WILL DECAY.
