The Ergolift 2 is subject to wear and tear, and the following actions must be performed when
specified to ensure that the product remains within its original manufacturing specifications.
WARNING: The points on this checklist are the minimum the manufacturer recommends. In
some cases more frequent inspections should be carried out. Continuing to use this equipment
without conducting regular inspections or continuing to use this equipment when a fault is
found will seriously compromise the safety of both the user and the patient. Local regulations
and standards may be higher than those of the manufacturer. Preventive maintenance specified
in this manual can prevent accidents.

Has the battery been charged? Plug the lift whenever it is
not in use.

Verify that the safety latches on the spreader bar are
present and move freely.

Inspect the lift for any damage. If there are any cracks or
other damage on the lift, or if any part is missing, DO NOT
USE IT. Contact you local representative for service of the
lift. X
Inspect the spreader bar for any signs of cracking or
damage and check if it rotates freely.

Make sure casters roll freely and are securely attached.

Inspect for missing hardware or broken pieces.
