INSTALLATION OF THE GAS SUPPLY (INTO STUDDED WALL OR
EXISTING CHIMNEY BREAST)
2.4.1
Before installing the combustion chamber, decide from which side or if a
rear connection to the gas supply is required. Plan the pipe run to enter
the below the firebox from the left and connect to the inlet elbow. See
figure 8, 9 & 10 below.
Note : Before breaking into the gas supply a gas tightness test
should be carried out to establish that the
existing pipework is sound.
