Security lock operation
The safety lock locks the steam boiler against steam pressure as long as there is steam pressure in the tank
the appliance cannot be opened! The steam pressure in the appliance is controlled by a pressure regulator,
if this pressure regulator fails for some reason and overpressure occurs, the valve in the safety lock opens
automatically and the steam escapes through.
First use
Remove all factory packaging from the device. After the first fill up, connect the appliance to the mains,
the appliance will start warming up. Check how to fill it up properly in intended point. During the first
commissioning, minimal smoke may escape from the steam nozzle, initially the steam exit from the
appliance may not be continuous, will be intermittent. After a short run-in (approx. 1 minute), the steam
output must be strong and continuous.
Use
Filling with water: Use the funnel and measuring cup provided with the appliance. Pay attention to the
markings on the measuring cup. Do not add more liquid to the device than necessary (max. 300 ml)!
1. If you have not used the appliance, unscrew the safety lock. If you have used the appliance before and
it is hot, please reduce the pressure in the tank until the safety valve allows you to open the safety lock.
Allow the steam boiler to cool slightly before filling!
2. Fill the steam boiler with a maximum of 300 ml of water.
3. Screw in the security lock.
Remark: It is recommended to use commercially available distilled water to prevent scale formation in the
steam boiler. Using hot water can shorten the heating time.
Start up
The appliance may only be used vertically, please also take care not to tilt the appliance too much during
use, as this may lead to insufficient steam generation.
1. Place the appliance on a solid base. (e.g. table, counter)
2. Please make sure that the mains voltage is compatible with the device before connecting. Only with dry
hands should you hold the device! Connect the appliance to the mains!
3. Press the side steaming safety button, then start steaming with the top button. You can now release the
side button, which remains pressed in the „open” state. Steam escapes.
4. When you release the upper steaming knob, the side safety knob will return to the “lock” state, thus
preventing accidental use.. Steam emissions cease.
