INSTALLATION WARNINGS
WHO THIS MANUAL IS MEANT FOR
These instructions are meant for the operator
who should carefully read them before using
and servicing the unit.
It is forbidden to perform operations that are
not given in these instructions.
These warnings are NOT meant for the
final operator of the unit.
Hereinafter the word “UNIT” will mean the
“SALAMANDER” machine.
General warnings
Failure to follow the provisions can cause
damage, breakdowns and injuries, even fatal;
moreover, it voids the guarantee and releases
the Manufacturer from any liabilities.
Before using and cleaning the machine,
read this manual carefully. If you don’t
understand some parts of this manual, please
contact the Manufacturer before installing the
unit.
This manual is an integral part of the unit
and should always be kept with it. Keep
this manual indoors in a dry and accessible
location near the machine so that it can be
easily reached for any future consultation.
The installation should be carried out by
authorized and qualified personnel who
respect the instructions of this manual.
The personnel must be properly trained and
instructed on how to install the machine and
how to operate the electrical installations.
- Do not transport, install or service the
unit without wearing personal protection
equipment described in this manual (see the
chapter “PERSONAL PROTECTION EQUIPMENT
(PPE): WHAT IT IS AND WHY IT MUST BE USED”
on page 10).

To make the reading clearer and easier for
the reader, some symbols have been used
in this manual to convey the meaning or the
importance of a piece of information next to a
symbol.
This means that the paragraph
marked with this symbol should be
read carefully before the product is
installed, used and serviced.
The symbol indicates that the
operator needs to pay the utmost
attention to avoid unwanted or
dangerous consequences.
The symbol placed on the machine
or mentioned in the manual
identifies the areas that reach high
temperatures and could cause
burns.
The symbol placed on the machine
or mentioned in the manual
identifies electrical hazards.
It indicates important information to
read and follow.
It indicates the provisions relevant to
action that must be avoided.
It identifies an earth (ground) terminal.
It identifies equipotential terminals
that, when connecting to one
another, bring the different parts of
the unit to the same potential.
