Max. Basis Weight
For non-linear calibration curves you have to enter the maximum
weight per area and you have to select the function cubic for calcu-
lation. These square or cubic characteristic curves require absorp-
tion coefficients a2 and a3 in addition to the absorption coefficients
a1. This kind of calibration curve is required only in rare cases. In
such cases you then have to enter the maximum weight per area
at maximum load in g/cm
2
prior to calculation. Without this infor-
mation, you will get the following error message when you try to
perform a cubic calculation: "Enter weight per area".
The weight per area is calculated as follows:

Example:
Measuring range: 0 – 200 t/h
Belt speed v: 1 m/s
Belt width b: 1 m
F = 5,55 g/cm²
Belt width (0 to 9,99 m)
Enter the belt width in meters for calculation of the weight per a-
rea.
Product select [external/internal
Specify if the product is to be selected via the evaluation unit (=
internal ) or via digital inputs (= external , 18a and 18c, 20a and
20c).
Low load suppression
The low load entered here is suppressed and as long as the en-
tered value in t/h (kg/h) is not exceeded, the display shows 0 t/h
(kg/h) .
Erase mass integ.
Yes means: reset the mass integrator to zero for each new run.
No means: The mass integrator continues to count from the value
reached last in each run .
